Strength, power, flexibility, balance, core stability, body awareness, and endurance are all physical traits that every consistent golfer must possess. This assessment focuses on functional movement and dynamic power to identify strengths and weaknesses.
Whether you are scrambling for par or taking advantage of a par 5, the health of your shortgame can have a huge effect on your score. You'll be tested on the most common shots you will face during a round and will determine what shots around the green are an asset or a liability to your game.
3D Motion Capture
GEARS is golf's version of an MRI. It focuses on the movement of the body, its effect on your swing, and ball flight. During this session you will wear a motion capture suit featuring 26 sensors placed at key points around the body and at six locations on the club.
This standardized test enables golfers to identify strengths and weaknesses and compare their performance to peer groups. It consists of 60 shots, each of which is scored on a scale of 0–100.
This analysis and training system is based on accurate ultrasound measurements. Within seconds the system gives you individual feedback on your putting strokes and reveals details of your stroke relative to your technique, timing, and consistency. This results in an overall putting score as well as detailed strengths and weaknesses.
